Finding non-vicey things to do when you're in the bottom 0.1% cognitively challenged territory is a real challenge but slowly I'm finding simple day-to-day ways you can add positive meaning, purpose, hope and contribution to life and utilising supports to do such.

You may have domains which are more preserved than others allowing some functionality but not many appreciate a day of your brain not working well until it happens to them. Nonetheless, I'm finding you can still care for yourself and others, be kind to yourself and others and "be the best you can be" despite severe deficits.

I agree, it is often times of pain that provide the most powerful doorways to contacting what really matters...

Even extremely painful experiences can serve to remind us of our values we have related to living in harmony with others or our planet. For example, I can't watch TV, shopping is an extreme sport, EVERYTHING is a challenge What are your plans if cognitive impairment impacts your life? What would you spend your time doing?
